On Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00am to 6:00am ET, the FIU Canvas team will upgrade the PlayPosit integration in Canvas to version 1.3 in preparation for the Summer 2026 semester. During this time, the PlayPosit integration will be unavailable. If you would like to learn more about PlayPosit, please review the PlayPosit Instructor Article or the PlayPosit Student Article.

On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET, the Honorlock Desktop Application feature will be enabled. This feature allows instructors to require students to install and run the Honorlock Desktop Application during their exams, providing an additional layer of security by establishing a secure Chrome session and monitoring the desktop to block unauthorized applications.

On May 5, 2026, from 12:00am to 1:00am ET, the FIU Canvas Team will remove the Delphinium LTI integration in FIU Canvas. Once removed, courses previously using the integration will no longer see a link to access the Delphinium dashboard in the course navigation menu.
